SECURE SERVER
We are using Secure Sockets Layer for transmitting private
documents via the Internet.
SSL works by using a public key to encrypt data that is transferred over
the SSL connection. This high-level security protocol protects the
confidentiality and security of data while it is being transmitted through
the internet (such as credit card numbers). SSL enables client and server
applications to communicate in a way that is designed to prevent
eavesdropping, tampering, and message forgery. SSL was developed by Netscape
Communications Corporation and RSA Data Security, Inc.
